Bisnowaty to visit Happy Valley this weekend

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Fox Chapel offensive lineman Adam Bisnowaty may not have any leaders yet, but he says there's something about each school that's attractive to him.

Even though he's already visited West Virginia and Pitt, with Penn State coming up this weekend, he added that a decision will most likely not come anytime soon.

"To me, everyone is equal, I don't have one above another. Every school has something that I like more than another. I really can't pick out just one school that I absolutely love.

"I'm just making sure that I'm not making the wrong decision, I want to make sure the school I go to is the school I fall in love with. I want to be happy during my next four or five years there, then come back and be a (proud) alumni."

As mentioned, that process will continue this Saturday, when Bisnowaty makes the trip to Happy Valley, which he confirmed with assistant coach Tom Bradley last night. He says that Penn State's academics are what stands out for the Nittany Lions.

"I do like Penn State a lot because I've been doing a little more research on the actual school, academically. A lot of things pop out to me, the student-athletes there just get tremendous help with whatever is needed. Whatever you need, they're behind you 100 percent and I like that, that stands out about Penn State."

The 6-foot-6, 275 pound tackle prospect recently picked up his sixth offer from another great academic school.

"Virginia offered about a week ago. I'm pretty excited about that since they're a higher education school. Coach Blazer is the main coach recruiting me, other than that, I haven't talk to them recently, but I'll probably call them soon."

As for any other scholarships, Bisnowaty said he hopes to earn them during camp.

"Right now, I'm attending the Nike Training Camp at Penn State on April 30. Hopefully that will put my name out there a little more, maybe I can get a few more offers from that.

"Depending on a few things, Id really like to decide before my season starts. Right now, I'm just looking at the schools that have offered me and I'm trying to get to their campuses. That's the hardest part for me, financially it's hard to do, but I'm trying to get to each schools campus before I make a decision."

So what did he think of Pitt when he checked out their practice on Tuesday?

"It was a lot different than it was with the new coaching staff. Everything is much more upbeat, much more quick, they stay moving. They're going in the right direction.
