Franklin Has Visit Scheduled

Peoria, Arizona linebacker Brennan Franklin has an official visit to Toledo setup for this weekend. The 6-2, 241 pound Centennial High School star recently talked to TheRocketNation about his upcoming official visit and more.

Franklin currently has offers from Weber State, Wofford College, Robert Morris, North Dakota, Colorado Mesa and Colorado State Pueblo. He also has a preferred walk-on offer from Arkansas of the SEC. Brennan does not currently hold an offer from Toledo, but he expects it to come soon.

"They (Toledo) told me they plan on offering when I visit," Franklin said. He added, "I leave Friday morning (for the visit)."

So being from Arizona, what does Franklin currently know about the University of Toledo?

"I know that it's a good program that wants to win," Franklin said. He added, "being the Military Bowl Champions and having a winning record last year definitely is influencing my decision. They have great facilities and I can't wait to get to see it in person."

At the present time Franklin is open to all offers and he hopes to narrow his list down within the next week. His current plan is to make a final decision on where he will play his college ball that following weekend, which is the last weekend before signing.
